"Bienvenue à Dortmund"
Important information on pyrotechnics of any kind:
We would like to draw your attention to the fact that the carrying and burning of pyrotechnics of any kind (e.g. smoke pots, Bengal flares, distress flares) is prohibited in Germany. This ban applies not only in the stadium, but in all public spaces. A violation of this regulation will inevitably lead to legal consequences and may result in a ban on entering the stadium. This would mean that, despite your arrival at the venue, you would not be able to support your team in the stadium due to your own misconduct.
Therefore, please refrain from setting off pyrotechnics anywhere in the city and in the stadium! You are endangering yourself and bystanders!
We would like to provide you with the following information for your journey:
Bus journey: Guest fans arriving by coach or car can park in parking lot E 3, Victor-Toyka-Straße in Dortmund. From there it is only a few hundred meters on foot to the stadium.
Train arrival: Visiting fans arriving by train can take the subway line U 45 from Dortmund main station to the "Stadtgarten" stop and from there continue on line U 46 to the "Westfalenhallen" stop.
Travel for small groups or individuals from the city center:
For guest fans who are already in Dortmund city center ("Alter Markt"), we recommend taking the underground from the "Stadtgarten" stop on line U 46 to the "Westfalenhallen" stop. Your ticket entitles you to use the subway free of charge.
For all travelers:
Only an early arrival to the stadium by 19:00 will allow you to be at the stadium in time for kick-off. Your entrance area is located in the "Nord-Mitte" entrance area of the stadium on Strobelallee and is marked accordingly.
Backpacks and other large bags cannot be taken into the stadium. Therefore, please refrain from carrying such items at all. The drop-off points for guest fans are located on Strobelallee opposite the North Central entrance and in the Rote Erde stadium area. There are also lockers in the area of Dortmund Central Station.
We look forward to a fair and sporting match with you and wish you a safe journey and a pleasant stay in Dortmund!
